Africa today accounts for less than 3% of the world trade. This is due to a series of factors well-known by most people, but it is not an irreversible situation.

The continent will only become prosperous if there are viable relationships between local businesses and global corporations. Exports pave the way to fulfilling Africa's aspirations of better living standards, eradication of poverty and lower dependences.

So we work closely with farmers and co-operatives to ensure our business has a positive impact on the local community.

We support the development of the local producers and their communities. For example, we return 5% of our profits to communities in DR Congo, which is invested in supporting children’s welfare and buying medical supplies.

We believe that local businesses and multinational corporations can trade in a way that benefits all parties in the long term. We see a place for an Africa that is up to the global challenge, and an Africa that unlocks and retains the talents and skills of its people.
